Today

Today:
-I woke up to a sparkling house because my mom and dad stayed at my house until 11:00pm helping me clean.
-We will find out who has been elected as the leader of our country.
-My Russian friend voted for the first time as an American, and told me that she is saving her sticker to remind her of today for the rest of her life. She also said that it felt like Christmas.
-I will get free Starbucks, Krispy Kreme, Shane's Rib Shack, and Ben & Jerry's... once I decide who to vote for. (I admit that the free food is forcing me to make my decision more quickly)
-I will remember that Jesus was not a Republican or a Democrat, and my vote will not validate or break my relationship with Him.
-I became brave enough to voice my vague thoughts on the election here on our blog, knowing that some of my readers may drop me today.

Tomorrow:
-I will remember that God is in control, and He promises to take care of us when we make both good and bad decisions.

Oh, peedaddle. If anyone is going to get twitterpated over what are very nice thoughts about this election, which is like to kill me, then you don't need their crabby selves, anyway.

I love your post :) I can't believe how much free stuff they are giving out!! I am glad you became brave enough to talk about election on your blog... none of us will drop you :) God's plan is way bigger than any of us can imagine, that is for sure!

Don't you love a God that's limitless? Unshakable? Constant? Even in the midst of the havoc we wreak, He's still God. Unmistakeably, He's still sufficient. :)

No lost reader here!!

Your story about your friend seriously makes me want to cry. And not in a joking way. It makes me really emotional about everything we take for granted.

Enjoy that donut, sandwhich, steak, ice cream!

Amen, Sister! I'm so glad we follow Christ who leads from a throne and not someone who leads from a chair in a white house.

Your parents came and helped you clean....they are the best, aren't they?
We would never ever leave you, but GIRL - you don't know who you are voting for as of yesterday? Oh, if only I had read this before, I would have sat you down and given you a good walk through of all the important points, (not what the media tells you) (and Kimba would have surely joined me. :)hee hee.
